Designed to streamline your EV ownership experience, MBUX navigation features dedicated route planning technologies that integrate with your all-electric Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Known as Navigation with Intelligence, this clever feature works alongside Mercedes me Charge to simplify the way you charge your vehicle. In addition to helping you locate the quickest and most convenient route, it also factors in current charge states and available charging options along the way. This means you can drive worry-free while continuously monitoring and tracking your efficiency on the way to your destination.
Mercedes-Benz COMAND® Navigation
As the precursor to today’s MBUX system, Mercedes-Benz models previously came equipped with the COMAND® Navigation feature. This feature debuted new features like customizable maps and turn-by-turn directions – both of which helped drivers keep their eyes focused safely on the road ahead. Another evolution of this system included voice commands that allowed drivers to control the system completely hands-free. It also provided audible feedback and commands to drivers. Another advantage was its compact software size that was conveniently stored on an SD card for simple updates.
