Designed from a blank sheet of paper, the body shell of the latest SL shares zero components with the outgoing model or any other member of the Mercedes-Benz family. As functional as it is stylish, its carefully crafted exterior features functional aerodynamics that boosts cooling and stability while reducing both wind noise and drag. Included as standard on SL 43 models is a Handcrafted AMG® 2.0L Inline-4 turbo engine cranking out a balanced 375 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Still craving more power? Upper trims feature Handcrafted AMG® 4.0L V8 biturbo engines producing 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque (SL 55) or 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque (SL 63). Debuting as a first for the SL is the AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel drive system, adding both stability and agility to this dynamic performance coupe. SL 63 variants benefit from AMG® ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping adjustment and active anti-roll stabilization, delivering a serene ride around town and at high speeds. At the rear, a standard active rear spoiler changes its position automatically based on the speed of your Mercedes-AMG® SL.

Meticulously crafted to support each action of the driver, the interior of the Mercedes-AMG® is a true exhibition of luxury and avant-garde design. Available AMG® performance seats feature integrated headrests and bolstering that automatically tightens when Sport, Sport+, and RACE driving modes are engaged. AIRSCARF® neck-level heating comes as standard, surrounding the head and neck area of the occupants with warm air just like a scarf. Upholstery choices include single or two-tone Nappa leather, diamond-quilted Nappa leather, or the sport-inspired Nappa leather with Microfiber suede featuring contrasting topstitching in either yellow or red. The SL now features a reimagined 2+2 seating configuration for the first time since 1989 that increases both practicality and usable space. Weighing just 46 pounds, its electric soft top takes just 15 seconds to open or close at speeds of up to 37 MPH. A precision-built Burmester® audio system features authentic metal loudspeaker covers within the door panels, providing the perfect soundtrack to your drive inside of the Mercedes-AMG® SL. Inspired by aviation, the centerpiece of the streamlined dashboard inside the Mercedes-AMG® SL is a stunning 11.9-inch multimedia touchscreen. This “Hyperanalog” interior theme combines classic automotive elements with innovative digital instrumentation. Featuring intuitive operation and limitless customization options, the latest generation of MBUX (Mercedes-Benz of User Experience) includes AMG®-specific content and views including Classic, Sport, Supersport, TRACK PACE and Discreet are available. AMG® TRACK PACE is a virtual race engineer that logs key drive data for use on the race track.
