What’s New For 2026
A variety of exciting updates have been made to the popular Mercedes-Benz GLE for the 2026 model year. All-new MANUFAKTUR Editions are now available for both GLE 350 4MATIC® and GLE 450 4MATIC® variants, featuring exclusive exterior, interior, and equipment combinations. Additionally, all GLE 450 4MATIC® trims now come standard with the AMG® Line Exterior. Finally, power rear window sunshades are now available as a standalone option on the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE.

Choose the GLE 450 4MATIC® and you’ll enjoy a potent 3.0L Inline-6 Turbo with a mild hybrid system that provides 375 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. There is also a plug-in hybrid version of the GLE, the GLE 450e 4MATIC®. This has 381 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It can also drive for an estimated 49 miles on all-electric power. If you’re looking for even more power, the GLE 580 4MATIC® packs a twin-turbo V8 with a mild hybrid system and produces 510 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque.
Enhanced agility, ride control, and new functions such as free-driving mode are each benefits of the available E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension. Developed in-house by Mercedes-Benz, E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL includes a 48V operating voltage and is optionally available for engine variants with the 48V system. Individual wheel actuation is another new function for off-road driving, allowing your GLE to tread where other luxury SUVs fear to.
