About the Mercedes-Benz C-Class
There are a variety of reasons why the legendary C-Class Sedan has remained one of the most successful models in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Revised lower body styling, wheel options, and all-LED lighting helps enhance the athletically-chiseled profile of the C-Class. Performance comes from a proven 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine paired to a responsive 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. An expertly-crafted interior serves as the perfect complement to the luxurious driving experience you’ll enjoy with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Enjoy all your favorite smartphone functions with standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto. No matter how many miles are ahead of you, drivers can relax and enjoy power front seats with power thigh support and memory functions. In the small luxury sedan segment, many imitators try unsuccessfully to match the excellence represented by the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
What the Critics Say
Gateway models sometimes fall well short of their more expensive counterparts in a luxury automaker’s lineup, but that isn’t the case with the C-class. This relatively affordable Benz bears pleasing similarities to the storied S-class, and it delivers this goodness at a reasonable price. Its cabin is chic and opulent, and its handling is crisp and engaging.” — Car and Driver
Yes, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a good car. It has one of the nicest interiors in the luxury small car class, and it’s chock-full of high-quality materials. Its handling is well-balanced and focuses on comfort, and its potent engine choices help the C-Class generate plenty of acceleration and passing power.” — U.S. News & World Report
What’s New for 2020
After receiving a mid-cycle refresh last year, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz returns with all of its familiar strengths ranging from performance and style to innovative technology and safety. The previously optional Premium Package featuring 18-inch alloy wheels and a digital instrument panel is now standard across the C-Class lineup. Additionally, every C-Class now comes standard with a blind-spot monitoring system. Finally, the C 350e Hybrid is expected to launch later in the model year with the latest electrified powertrain from Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class Features
Elegant Styling and Proven Performance
Its alluring exterior design is only one of the many reasons why the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has remained the best-selling nameplate in its class. Updated front and rear bumpers help enhance this sedan’s dynamic attitude. Every C-Class receives standard chrome-plated trim, while the optional AMG®-line package adds a diamond radiator grille and unique rear diffuser. Complementing its sophisticated styling, LED headlamps and taillamps are included as standard to offer clear, natural illumination during dark conditions. You’ll have your choice of 8 unique wheel options to help your C-Class reflect your own personal tastes.
Beneath the hood of the C-Class Sedan lies a powerful yet efficient 2.0-liter inline-4 turbo engine producing 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. This engine receives a 14-horsepower increase from the previous variant thanks to improvements to the engine tuning. A standard 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission and available 4MATIC® all-wheel drive provide you with complete control of your drive, regardless of the road conditions.
Marking the start of the next generation of luxury and innovation, the interior of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class impresses with a collection of premium features to help you escape the hustle and bustle of your hectic workday. Optional heated and ventilated front seats provide you with personalized comfort. Available 4-color LED ambient lighting with illuminated door sills helps you set the mood inside the interior. Precision-crafted interior accents include enuine aluminum switches finished in satin silver along with hand-finished wood trim. The available Burmester® Surround Sound with drilled metal speaker grilles lets you hear your favorite music the way the artist’s intended it to be heard.
Technology & Driver Assistance
Optional driver assist technologies on the C-Class help take the stress out of driving, changing lanes with the touch of your finger, and knowing when to slow down for an exit or tollbooth. A collection of sensors help scan for danger ahead, even when it’s coming at you from behind. Thanks to Mercedes me connect, you’re able to access services such as Remote Start, Lock/Unlock and Vehicle Monitoring, view your vehicle status right from your phone, and schedule service at a moment’s notice.
Available wireless charging lets you charge up as you drive all without the need to deal with cables or adapters. A useful click-turn controller on the console and a 7-inch or 10.25-inch CENTRAL SCREEN animate audio and vehicle settings. Standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto smartphone integration allows you to access your favorite media and apps inside the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
